About Camp Torian
Located in Bonanza, Oregon, Camp Torian is a 1,400-acre working ranch that offers a variety of natural and artificial terrain features, live-fire shooting ranges, and training support facilities that have previously accommodated training akin to the requirements set forth in the 21st Special Tactics Squadron Long Range Shooting solicitation. Such training at Camp Torian has been hosted for multiple SEAL Teams from Naval Special Warfare Group Two as well as for 125th Special Tactics Squadron from the Air National Guard.
Camp Torian contains sagebrush plains and rocky gorges that give way to juniper clad ravines and alpine meadows. The northern half of the ranch contains the training support facilities and various live-fire shooting ranges. The southern half boasts additional live-fire shooting ranges. The training support facilities that lie within the northern half of the ranch are centrally located, which provides ease of access and limits unnecessary delays. These facilities include onsite lodging, restrooms, classroom spaces, a hangar, fitness center, and an outdoor storage magazine–all of which are within minutes and accessible by road of all the live-fire shooting ranges.
A MARINE, a friend, and an inspiration.
While the facility was being constructed, the developers were tasked to come up with a name for the Camp that would represent everything that we strive for. Immediatley Torian was brought up and there was no further discussion needed. Master Sergeant Aaron C. Torian is a hero and will be remembered through his stellar example serving the U.S.A., all of us at Camp Torian are proud and honored to name this establishment after him.
